VNS Vault
Security Architecture
Zero-Knowledge Cryptographic Matrix & Local Sandbox Standard
● 1. Military-Grade Cipher Specification
VNS Vault employs an uncompromised, client-side encryption framework designed to protect credentials, private keys, and sensitive financial data from all threat vectors.
- AES-GCM-256 Bit Encryption: All local data vaults are locked using Advanced Encryption Standard in Galois/Counter Mode, guaranteeing both data confidentiality and authenticity.
- PBKDF2 Key Derivation: Master Passwords are hardened using Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2, utilizing high-iteration SHA-256 hashing to eliminate brute-force attack risks.
● 2. Isolated Client-Side Sandbox Partition
Payment card records and sensitive vault items operate within an isolated client-side sandbox partition.
- Masked Data Protection: Sensitivities like CVV2 codes and full credit card numbers are masked by default.
- Biometric Verification: Local biometric authentication or passcode entry is enforced to temporarily reveal unmasked payloads on-demand.
● 3. Air-Gapped Tether & Local Sync Architecture
To guarantee zero reliance on third-party cloud infrastructure, synchronizations occur exclusively over secure local pathways.
- Encrypted Storage Payloads: All exported backup files (.JSON or String) remain fully encrypted with your 12-word seed key prior to file generation.
- Local Socket Sync: Data transfers between mobile terminals and desktop nodes occur via direct USB / local sockets without intermediary servers.
Zero-Knowledge Guarantee
All encryption and decryption processes execute entirely offline on your local device CPU.
