VNS GROUP LIMITED operates under a strict Zero-Telemetry Policy. The VNS Rider application does not harvest, monitor, store, or transmit any user metrics, unique hardware identifiers (IMEI/MAC), location data, or contact lists to external servers. All question selection algorithms, timers, and scoring procedures execute entirely offline on your local device CPU.

2. Local Storage & Practice Progress Security

All study records and configuration parameters in VNS Rider are sandboxed locally using standard Web Storage APIs on your Android device:

• Local Sandbox Partition: Examination simulation records, question bookmarks, and test history are preserved solely within the isolated application container.
• Zero Cloud Dependency: Your practice scores and study statistics never leave your device and are never synchronized to external databases or analytics networks.

3. Packaged Asset Bundling & No Remote Assets

• Internalized Question Bank: The complete database of questions, translated road safety regulations, and diagrams (Classes D, E, F) is bundled locally within the application package.
• Air-Gapped Operation: No dynamic asset downloads or live content pulling take place during test sessions. The app operates completely without an active internet connection.

4. Device Permissions & Hardware Usage

VNS Rider practices strict permission minimization to safeguard user trust:

• No Invasive Permissions: We do not request access to your camera, microphone, device contacts, SMS, precise GPS location, or external media storage.
• Network Permission Scope: The android.permission.INTERNET declaration is solely reserved for opening standard external legal and developer reference links at the explicit command of the user.

5. Road Safety & Theory Content Disclaimers

VNS Rider is an independent exam simulation platform designed to help foreign residents practice for the official Subject 1 (科目一) test.

• Independent Educational Tool: The application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or managed by any Chinese traffic bureau or governmental licensing division.
• Local Clock Evaluation: Test timer durations, question countdowns, and exam completion metrics rely exclusively on your device internal hardware clock.

6. UI Customization & Dark Mode Preferences

Visual comfort preferences (such as Night Light / Dark Mode toggles and interface settings) are handled with an uncompromising offline model:

• Local Preference Storage: Display theme choices and bookmark states are converted into local key-value pairs stored strictly on your local hardware.
• No Tracking of Preferences: User learning patterns, reading velocity, and failure rates are completely unmonitored.

7. Complete Data Wipe & Reset Options

Users retain full autonomy over their practice history and stored parameters:

• In-App Reset All Data: You can purge all test scores, mock history, and bookmarks at any moment by navigating to Settings → Reset All Data inside the application.
• Uninstallation Purge: Uninstalling the application or clearing storage via Android Settings → Apps → VNS Rider → Clear Storage destroys all locally retained states instantly.

8. Children's Privacy

VNS Rider is designed for driving license applicants of legal operating age and is not directed towards children under 14. Because the app functions without account sign-ups, network telemetry, or data capture, no personal information of any user is ever collected or distributed.

9. Policy Amendments & Transparency

We may periodically update this policy to document architectural improvements or regulatory requirements. Any revisions will be reflected transparently on this page alongside an updated effective date.

10. App Store Distribution & Payment Processing

VNS Rider is made available through official distribution channels (including Huawei AppGallery). If you purchase the application or associated study licenses, all transactions, billing events, and currency conversions are handled securely by the respective app store platform. VNS GROUP LIMITED does not receive, process, or store your credit card credentials or personal financial data.
